day 1 (continued) - singapore to taipei

after ximending, we went to shihlin night market. it's a market split into two sections, one for games and food and another for shopping. this is the shopping section.

i bought a pair of heels here. the shoes are like those found in bugis street, but cheaper and with a slightly larger variety. there are LOTS of shops in shihlin, makes for great shopping, especially for bags and shoes. i'm not a big fan of their fashion; it's too japanese inspired for my liking...but i really shouldn't complain when everything's so cheap and plentiful. this is where "dig, and you shall find" comes in.
